4,652 days, from his first day of kindergarten, to his last day as a senior. Days filled with dozens of backpacks, lunchboxes, tablets, and 0.9 mm BIC pencils. Hundreds of folders signed, permission slips filled out, and a solid handful of homework dug out of the hole / binder / backpack / pocket they mysteriously became buried in.

Thousands of breakfast shakes, breakfast sandwiches, bowls of oatmeal, Uncrustables, Go-Gurts, and juice pouches. T-Shirts without tags, tennis shoes, and neverending morning searches for a belt. Terrific teachers, tutors, teachers that went toe-to-toe, tenderhearts, those that truly made a difference, and teachers lost too soon. Bus rides, mom rides, sister rides, and one ride to to the Ag Barn that prompted a vow to never weld again.

Fun Fridays, talent shows, football games, and stadium powerwalks. Field days, field trips, and one well orchestrated Lunch Period food fight (memorialized by viral video + a short stent in the in-school-suspension slammer). Theater performances, Spring dances, Senior Walk, and Senior Prom. It wasn't always easy, or fun, or fulfilling, but he kept with it. And in 4,652 days, start to finish, earned his walk across that stage.

Billy is preparing to attend TSTC in the fall to become a Climate Control Marshall, Engineer of Atmosphere Regulation, Spelunker of Attics, Lord of Duct Ventilation (some also refer to as HVAC Technician). If you would like to join us in congratulating Billy and contribute toward the steps in his journey, you can do so here. Whether it be $ or words of encouragement, every bit helps. Much love to you and yours.
